Description

This genuine EATON bypass actuator is a kit that includes:

• Brand-new bypass actuator,

In an EATON supercharger, the bypass actuator is a vacuum-actuated control that opens the bypass valve to allow intake air to bypass the rotors at light throttle. When open, it reduces drag on the engine at light throttle, improving fuel economy. A properly functioning bypass actuator is critical for achieving the great drivability and fuel economy that EATON superchargers are known for. A malfunctioning bypass actuator could cause the bypass valve to stick shut (reducing fuel economy and increasing IATs), stick open (bypassing boost entirely even at WOT), or open/close at the wrong times (affecting drivability)

This actuator is calibrated correctly for LSA applications from the factory, and does not need to be adjusted or set for stock applications. This PN Replaces 006-33682
